A new day a new haiku
Barely hearing ears
Beat out a better rhythm
Beneath burnished bronze
This chapter ends too
We move on to pastures new
I will miss this view
Paper thin flowers
Will suspend their disbelief
Until the sun dies
As sun touches earth
It is at this moment that
I see who I am
How soon we adapt
If I stumble, if I fall
It was no mistake
From the sandy dirt
These tough old dinosaur trees
Suck up every drop
How long will we stand
Gazing into the sunset?
Never long enough
As the fallen sun
Sets a broken sky alight
So my heart ignites
Hazy twilight glow
Dew settles on the meadow
They never grow old
A small silver chink
Opens up rusty old minds
To a clearer view
Am I of the land
Or still working against it
And where is the line?
In one thousand suns
Lift me up across the lake
This was my mistake
New album out now
