A new day a new haiku

  • If I were alone

Would I fight against the tide?

    The water’s rising

    2nd May 2015

  • Blue bells toll for spring

    Melting into long summer

    And bid fairies come

    1st May 2015

  • Since I lost my way

    Retreat into my old shell

    A tired tortoise

    30th April 2015

  • In the darkest deeps

Never sure what might be found

    Hidden underneath

    29th April 2015

  • Cold muscles shiver

As the axe bites in a knot

    Even mountains shake

    28th April 2015

  • As the falling sun

Paints the clouds like a rainbow

    Now I am alive

    27th April 2015

  • The taste of new leaves

The sound of long spring evenings

    The smell of Ramsons

    26th April 2015

  • Still lost and confused

All that I touch turns to dust

    Though I tried my best

    25th April 2015

  • Underground I sleep

Until the spring sun wakes me

    From long lucid dreams

    24th April 2015

  • A baby cony

    Tucked away in my warren

    Warm and safe and dry

    23rd April 2015

  • Clear blue crystal skies

    Quiet birdsong haunts me still

    When I remember

    22nd April 2015

  • When the blind lead us

    We follow, with hopeful hearts

    Into the pitch dark

    21st April 2015
