The Earth and her moon
Spin and rotate together
Symbiotically
A new day a new haiku
The Earth and her moon
Spin and rotate together
Symbiotically
Golden daffodils
Will soon be hanging dead heads
Years leave us behind
On the patio
In the fading evening glow
Imagine the past
Each day is different
The yesterday you is gone
Try not to forget
Across swelling seas
Currents rip and tides spring to
Bring you back to me
Like a little kite
The line waxing and waning
Reel me in again
Salty blue pools ebb
And trickle into the sea
Following the moon
Whispers in the night
Winding through secret dark lanes
Only in starlight
Solitary heron
This hazy grey evening light
Belongs to your kind
Everything stood still
In this hazy spring evening
To watch the birds glide
Were you standing here
My arboreal old friend
When they laid these stones?
A burning orange
Hangs behind budding branches
Another day dies
a scruffian project
