A new day a new haiku

Shiny silver eye Shining down inside my hide There is always hope
So I lay down bored Floored by tongue in groove antics I think we nailed it
Most things I forget The rest melt inside my mind We are memories
Goodbye clear blue sky Closing in on closing out Hello warm and dry
Encased in new skin Against the cruel elements To stand against time
Harvest is coming All I have is a hammer Nails, nails, nails, nails, nails
Nestling deep in The over growing garden A lost hideaway
I will gently rise And softly call to the trees For from these I came
Under the rafters Up and up and up we go Hanging from the eaves
