A persistent flow

You penetrate my weakness

Like a water leak

All those lonely nights

Grass seed halos at sunset

On creaky floorboards

Hidden grey matter
What kind of dark light resides
Behind these grey eyes

Stare into the sun

Deteriorate

Watch rain clouds roll in

Stacked slowly ‘gainst the sunset

Drifting off to sleep

Gossamer splinters

Tangled, entwined in teasels

Grey matter twitches

An ancient orchard

Brambles squeezing out apples

The fairies are lost

Ruined castles rise

Protruding from the fenland

I can’t let you go

These broken windows

So many stones I have thrown

Just give up on me

There’s another world

A space that’s inside our heads

And that’s where we meet

Restless devices

And a broken dream machine

Tiresome tumult

Between your warm arms 

A dew drop grass sea shimmers

Die in the sun rise 

Between fairy lights

Buttons polished fairly bright

Backward ferry rides

Cow parsley blossom

Little hands working in love 

Giving all you have

Adrift and sinking

Quicksand between naked toes

Will you take my hand?

Meadow flowers bloom

Minnows catching golden rays

Take the middle way
