A new day a new haiku

Starry canopy Flowers in the panicle Leafy panoply
In the waterfall I hear voices calling me Is this a gate way?
Mountains dressed in grass Stretching beyond horizons Paths that never end
From the rocky cliff Scattered harebells gently chime I too go unheard
As black clouds roll over We cower in the darkness Watching the storm pass
While we are away Watch over the wild garden And keep the birds safe
If badgers drove cars And killed one hundred humans Would we give them points?
If you trip or slip If you tumble or stumble Or fall I’ll catch you
Art, ever reaching And yet always falling short Never giving up
Trees know how to grow And birds sing all on their own What instinct I know?
Stolid hunter eyes Solitary, independent Stuck in my own mind
My bare feet can feel Wet grass giving way to steel Is this new day real?
