A new day a new haiku

Slip through my fingers Twilight days. I will see you On the other side
Daylight drains away The world swallowed by twilight Only I remain
As soon as school ends We head straight for the grey woods Faded in twilight
Fade into twilight Scramble through the brambly hedge Into a warm nest
Running through twilight The silver thread of moonlight Throws shadows half light
Endless mountains stretch A still silent wilderness Melting in twilight
My many mistakes Replayed, repeated, now Gather dusky dust
Hazy twilight glow Dew settles on the meadow They never grow old
