A new day a new haiku
Sun always rises
Regardless of our problems
Nature carries on
Inside concrete shells
Days and nights begin to blur
Slowly float away
Another day dawns
Lift me with your golden gaze
Help me to forget
Sunrise overflows
Spilling into life and hope
Never will I tire
Hawthorn pens me in
Reaching for a brighter day
I fall back again
Under the shadow
Of ineffable beauty
What can I offer?
Every day we live
With someone else’s choices
Help out future you
Across golden fields
Misty mornings fall lightly
And some are broken
Your pure morning light
Spins and weaves a golden web
Through the furry frost
Open up my eyes
Reflecting the clear blue skies
Of a new sun rise
In the fresh long hope
Of early morning shadows
The new day unfurls
I tried to escape
From this creepy green facade
But outside its worse
Golden morning glow
Pure and untarnished promise
Flawed expectation
Good morning meadow
The dew is wet, the sun shines
Let’s make hay today
Every new day dawns
Over yesterday’s ashes
Phoenix arising
When the first light dawns
Bright tufts flare orange above
Hazy teal acres
Golden morning light
A warm surprise, shines new life
Into dying eyes
Pack the tent away
Find the toys for rainy days
Summer is over
Early morning sun
Rises from behind the trees
The storm is over
