A new day a new haiku

Bushes and branches Consumed by flaming flowers Burning bold and bright
The first bluebells ring Newly arrived swallows sing Sounds that smell of spring
Whitewashed with blossom Bursting from coal black branches Time for a spring clean
Black thorny blossom Breaks dark spidery hedgerows Into foamy spray
Apertures agape Beside the blackthorn blossom Creatures cast their clouts
A glimmer of hope Another season has sprung A new moon rises
Bird song in the sun Reminds me what spring will bring Read between the lines
Winter starts to turn The first signs of life spring up From autumn’s debris
