A new day a new haiku

With a simple slip I break the surface tension Shadows gloom beneath
In the fresh long hope Of early morning shadows The new day unfurls
Deep in the dark woods Where gloomy shadows still lurk Enter if you dare
Haunted branches weave Evil shadows between life In the wild wild wood
As the years roll on Shadows of lost memories Return to the soil
Long autumn shadows Fall between us and the blue And what’s underneath
Shadows of our lives In our children’s children eyes Reflections surprise
