A new day a new haiku

Wait for the wind to Pick us up and set us free Floating with the breeze
Seeds will fly away They will go the mountains And flow to the sea
Autumn creeping up As rusty dock seeds crumble I am clinging on
My empty seed head Dried up beyond usefulness And falling slowly
I’ve scattered these seeds Sown them down in the damp ground Will any awake?
Whiley whiskers twitch In the damp dawn woodland air Tracks left in the mud
From this tiny seed Grows food, shelter warmth and light Patience rewarded
In this wilderness Dormant seeds lie expectant But will they flourish?
Leaves drop, seed scatters Fruit falls and begins to rot I too let it go
