A new day a new haiku

Rain smattered roses Their smeared and spattered petals Scattered in the lawn
When the rain had passed From out of the dirty ground Such beauty arose
The sweet heady scent Tumbles down in fragrant clouds I am home again
A place to call home Sun sets through open windows Where wild roses grow
I twist and I twine I bend and I bind myself I clamber and climb
Evening sun shines low Streaming through open windows Where do photons go?
