A new day a new haiku

Let the rain drops fall Let the dark storm clouds thunder Let the wild wind howl
Why should walls be square? Why do we make edges straight? Go now, ask the trees
Though I bend and break Try to make myself to size I will never fit
Though the wind rages Pelting me with sleet and hail Must just keep going
Snow showers melting Into low spring sunshine sprays Yes, these are the days
Slowly she rises One flawed frail limb at a time Stronger together
I’m stuck in a loop Feeling sore, ceiling to floor I’m luck in a stoop
Shade, safety, sanctum Shelter, shield, security We all need a roof
