A new day a new haiku
Don’t know where to go
I want to take every road
This is mine alone
Which way the road goes
We can never really know
Only a shadow
Which will you go for?
Will you take the easy road
Or the one less walked?
With every layer
Is the earth getting bigger?
No, it is shrinking
We must carry on
Through mud, ice and grime, into
The rest of our lives
Walk that road again
Although black clouds are looming
Somewhere the sun shines
The road doesn’t move
Yet it is ever changing
There is no now here
Can we make a choice?
Whichever fork we go down
There is but one road
As a river flows
Along the longest of roads
Ever on we go
The lava red road
Leads me ever nearer home
East and west I go
