A new day a new haiku

If what was above Matches what is underneath Then there would be peace
Let’s launch a canoe And paddle into the blue Swallowed by the view
Uncoiled fraying strings Twisting broken melodies Try to lose myself
Rooted to this earth I can’t change the wind and rain I can change my mind
The end of the road Is the best place to plan out The next adventure
Drift through the Highlands Black headed terns returning To the ocean waves
Towering mountains As far as the eye can see Now floating away
Starry sparks arise Flaming furnace fire flies At the day’s last sigh
As the fallen sun Sets a broken sky alight So my heart ignites
Around foggy lochs Through misty mountain passes We wend our way north
