Saturated gloom Drag me deeper underground Between roots and stones
The sullen grey sky Mutes gloomy shades of winter A subtle beauty
An oppressive gloom Settles over the last year Days start to lengthen
Dank November gloom Oppressively beautiful Tread murky water
With a simple slip I break the surface tension Shadows gloom beneath
The gathering gloom Rolls down the hillside and seeps Into the wild wood
In the gloomy deeps Drag me out from underneath I’m still clinging on
