February gripping
Tightly to my frozen toes
I can’t shake it off
Drain all my regrets
Into this icy water
Will I drown or freeze?
Just for a moment
Everything froze like a stone
Now we are melting
Blood ran through my veins
Now I’m frozen through again
Leave me in the dark
Outlined in sunlight
Every sharp edge galvanised
In the frozen air
