A new day a new haiku

We toil and spin soil Work, while, wattle and whittle All for one shy hope
We are only clouds Ever changing in the wind Vanishing vapour
The first signs of hope Spring so slow we can’t trust them Until we see growth
Breathe, settle, slow down There is nowhere else to go You’re already home
Each flower has its day Every day comes to an end We will rise again
Irises open Spicy saffron stamens spring Where did you come from?
