Following the line To where twisted brambles climb Running out of time
Bramble tendrils wind Distant planets intertwine There’s always a sign
Betwixt sky and earth The glory of last year fades Next year’s start to grow
Brambles start to rust And then vanish in a gust Summer turns to dust
Did life pass us by Run away from us again While we were waiting?
As our lives lengthen Such complex threads intertwine Embrace the chaos
Roots run wild below While vaulted bramble arches Fan feral above
Where we abandon Brambly tendrils will encroach Restless pioneers
