A new day a new haiku

Together we ate Blackberries in the early morning sun Now they are all gone
Open up the box Let the wild bramblers roam free Embrace the chaos
Curled up in the hedge Hiding from the wind and rain Tramping new terrain
Bramble tendrils wind Distant planets intertwine There’s always a sign
The slow silent creep In wiry tendrils entwined Bramblers always win
Through our father’s fields We will follow every path Crooked and oblique
When the scythe comes down And severs the world in two Time himself stands still
Betwixt sky and earth The glory of last year fades Next year’s start to grow
In the autumn glow Where the wilder branches grow Let everything go
