A new day a new haiku

by
Seething frothing waves Tumbling over themselves Crashing into me
Exploring edges Here all life diversifies Where does the land end?
Don’t over think it Don’t compare, don’t analyse Just be your best self
Now I am land locked Shuttered in and tied up tight Water is freedom
Can you grasp a day? Sand slipping though your fingers A final sunset
Big black clouds brewing Layers of every shade of sky Steely storm stewing
In silver shadows Racing raging rushing waves Just let yourself go
Starry sparks arise Flaming furnace fire flies At the day’s last sigh
An inner circle The everlasting balance Between light and dark
Newly balanced legs Teeter, totter then tumble Back into the sea
A hole in the sand Sunk inside blackness of time An empty circle
Navigate the reef Urchins and anemones Swirl all around me
