A new day a new haiku
Autumn warning lights
Cast long falling shadow lines
Over winter’s call
We’re still standing strong
Though roads are tough and seas rough
Somehow we hold on
Quiet morning stroll
Beats a quiet mourning scroll
Eyes up, phone screen down
The sea is safety
Ride the waves, ebb with the tide
This kingdom is free
Rain water gushes
Gauging out deeper gashes
Down the gullied gorge
The start of a thing
Is always more promising
Than the end of it
Cloud cover, crows cry
Looking for an alibi
Pigeons, you reply
